La Macina Ligure's organic Taggiasche olives by are preserved in extra-virgin olive oil in order to guarantee a tender and flavoured flesh. Introduced in Italy in the XIIth century by Benedictine monks, the Taggiasche olive is now one of the most renowned ones because while it is rather small, it remains very fleshy and delicious.
