Green pesto is considered being the classic pesto, it is commonly called pesto alla Genovese. This is a sauce originating from Liguria that is usually served with long pasta. To prepare the pesto, it took a lot of basil, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, pecorino and parmesan.


Basil 45%, olive oil 44%, sea salt, nut, pine nuts, cheese, garlic, wine vinegar, corn starch, aromas. Acidity regulator : lactic acid E270, citric acid E330.

For every 100 grams of dry pasta :

  • Add 10 grams of salt to 1 litre of water (preferably not hard water)
  • Boil the water slowly
  • Pour the pasta in and turn up the stove, so that boiling is faster
  • Stir with a wooden utensil and let the pasta cook for 10 to 12 minutes
  • When ready, add a cup of cold water and drain
