description
The 6 Isles is the first pure malt whisky of approximatively 10 years old which includes malts from six Scottish producer islands: Arran, Islay, Jura, Mull, Orkney and Skye. If 6 Isles is characterized by smoked notes of peat, which constitute the main common point to all these distilleries, it draws from each of them many other things (heather Orkney, Skye spices ...).
A bright yellow color, this whisky develops at the nose spice, pepper, sweets, iodine and floral aromas of heather spring notes. On the palate it is rich, sweet, oily, interspersed with freshly cut wood and citrus, wrapped of peat lightly. The final is salty and sweet. Good length with finesse.
