Madame Figaro marmalade is the fruit of the meeting of quince, Maltese orange and cardamom.
Created in 1996 for a command from the eponymous magazine, Christine Ferber had selected the « last fruit of the year », the quince (a fruit that she particularly appreciates working with), that she associated with orange and cardamom, a spice with very a feminine flavor.
Since its creation, this marmalade is one of the Christine Ferber’s masterpiece, but is not produced every years since selected quinces have to be of a flawless quality, which is not the case every year.
Marmalade made in Alsace by Christine Ferber with only fresh fruits.

Christine Ferber and her team prepare these wonderful jams in Niedermorschwihr, a small village nestled in the heart of vines. Not more than four kilograms of fruits are processed in copper pots for jams that have convinced the greatest chefs.
