description
Designed by master winemaker Eric Forget, the new version of Hine cognac expresses both all the aromatic richness of the Grande Champagne, heart of local French cognac, but also all the characteristics of a house created in 1763 .
This is an assembly original in many ways. It combines three Early Landed vintages 1984, 1986 and 1987. These cognacs, drawn only by home Hine, come from Grande Champagne, but experienced a long period of aging in Britain. There, in an atmosphere wetter and more temperate especially without large temperature differences, it acquires a smooth and romantic elegance without equal. It was then assembled with old cognacs (10 years minimum) of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, which remained in Charente throughout its maturation. All has been aged in French oak barrels, with delicate tannins.
This Homage has a beautiful floral freshness. In the mouth, it reveals silky, persistent, with hints of citrus and candied orange peel characteristics of Early Landed.
A excellence cognac designed as a real journey through time.
